The official web site for Fresh Expressions in Canada was launched at the Vital Church Planting Conference, on February 18th at St. Paul’s Bloor Street in Toronto. Fresh Expressions Canada (FXca) seeks to encourage the development of fresh expressions of church alongside more traditional expressions, with the aim of seeing a more mission-shaped church take shape throughout the country.

This is a companion web site to the Institute of Evangelism, so you will find shared content.

    Hi Ryan:

Just a word of encouragement. Keep up the good work. Your efforts are much appreciated. Do you know John Oakes, rector at Holy Trinity in Vancouver? He heads up the New West evangelism unit. I’ve done a few workshops for him at events.

I’m presently part of the Standing committee on Ministry for the Province of BC and Yukon, so am interested in all the information I can get. We are discussing emergent trends and we even have a couple of messy church initiatives starting up in the West.
