Rather it is the overflowing of life in a healthy congregation. Judy Paulsen shows us ways to grow a healthy congregation by helping members discover their gifts, so that as the congregation works together, there is an overflow into fruitful and lasting evangelism.

Judy Paulsen

Judy Paulsen served as director of the Institute of Evangelism from 2016 to 2023. She continues as Wycliffe’s Professor of Evangelism teaching courses on evangelism and church leadership. She also continues to do some consulting work with churches & dioceses and looks forward to the upcoming publication of her book, A New and Ancient Evangelism: Rediscovering the Ways God Calls and Sends, to be released by Baker Academic in the spring of 2024.

Judy will help churches assess their overall approach to mission (examining such artifacts as their budget, annual report, Sunday order of service, and organizational structures) and help them begin to reshape their common life in order to better share the faith.
