About Bruce Smith
Bruce Smith hails from Victoria BC and has served in prison ministries, seafarer’s and hospital chaplaincy, with congregational and regional youth ministry, church-based and regional missions, and mission events in Australia, Kenya, Great Britain, Jamaica and Barbados. For sixteen years he served as the National Director of Threshold Ministries (a.k.a Church Army). Now retired, Bruce devotes the lion’s share of his time as Mission Coordinator for the Anglican Parish of Christ Church St. James, Etobicoke. Much of that time is spent in coffee-shop based ministries and with folks finding freedom from addictions. His summers often include a teaching ministry at Camp Koinonia in Muskoka. Bruce is married to Carol. Together they are blessed with two terrific sons, a superb daughter-in-law and three absolutely amazing little grandchildren. The Scriptures that turned his life around (and still challenge the socks off him) are Mt.16:24 and Romans 12:1,2.
Bruce is also an Institute of Evangelism Mentor and can help your church to better work with personal sharing of faith.
